On December 12, VERTEX together with RUSFOND held an annual charity event, bringing joy to young patients of the National Medical Research Center (NMRC) Oncology named after. N.N. Blokhina.
As per tradition Father Frost and Snow Maiden ascended to the hospital windows using a lift! The children enjoyed watching the magical visitors, waving and exchanging smiles with them.
After the outdoor performance, the heroes handed over the celebratory baton to the musical folklore group Buranovskiye Babushki, who performed from the lift while Father Frost and Snow Maiden moved into the inpatient ward to meet the children.
The kids recited poems to Father Frost, and the Wizard, in return handed out gifts!
“No Father Frost was harmed! We tried our best not to freeze anyone while delighting the children. It was incredibly touching, and we succeeded in lifting the spirits of our young patients. Thank you so much!” Natalia Nikanorova, Head of the Department for Implementing Non-Budgetary Projects at the Oncology Center thanked the organizers.
“We are confident that this event brought holiday cheer to every child without disrupting their treatment schedule,” commented Dmitry Andreyevich Pankin, General Director of VERTEX. “We sincerely hope the children felt the joy and warmth of the New Year. May this magical holiday bring them lots of kindness, smiles, gifts, and most importantly—a speedy recovery.”
VERTEX extends its heartfelt gratitude to RUSFOND for assisting in the organization of the event as well as to our partner, LLC T.K. AUTO PLUS for providing transportation for the lifting equipment free of charge.
