Goikhman AL was elected chairman of the VERTEX Board of Directors

On February 7, at a meeting of the VERTEX founders, Goikhman A. L. was unanimously elected chairman of the Board of Directors.

Goikhman A. L. graduated from the Automobile Faculty of Zhdanov Gorky Polytechnic Institute in the specialty "Motor vehicles and the fleet" and was assigned to work in the GPOPAT 1 (Горьковское производственное объединение пассажирского автотранспорта - Gorky Production Association of Passenger Motor Vehicles -- now Enterprise "Nizhegorodets") in the position of a QCD foreman. He has worked with the company for over 28 years having risen from the foreman to the President of the company. Since 1997 he has been a founder of the company.

Goikhman A. L. is the winner of many prestigious regional competitions such as the "Leader of the Year" (small and medium enterprises) in the category "Best Cabbing Company"; "Manager of the Year" in the categories "Transport", "Best Transport Company". In 2009, he won the Russian competition "Manager of the Year" in the category "Manager of the Decade" in the Nizhny Novgorod Region. He was awarded numerous letters of thanks and government distinctions.

In 2005, he was elected to the City Council of Nizhny Novgorod in the Kanavinsky single-mandate constituency No. 12 and in 2010 was re-elected. He is the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Transport and Communications as well as a member of the City Council Committee on Municipal Facilities. In 2007, the City Council adopted a resolution "On the organization of road transport services to the public in the city of Nizhny Novgorod" based “on the Transport Program for development and proper operation of passenger and cabbing services" earlier initiated and developed by Goikhman A. L.

For the comprehensive charity work he was awarded the "Golden Diploma" of the Russian Competition "Philanthropist of the Year". He has been engaged in extensive charity work over 10 years. The initiator and developer of "Charity Program" of the company "Nizhegorodets": support of education and child care for socially unprotected people, reconstruction of municipal education and culture institutions. He is one of the founders of the city charitable fund "Nizhegorodsky".

From 1983 he was engaged in auto racing. Since 1993 he has been the leader of STK "Nizhegorodets" in the "Volga" cars class. The "Nizhegorodets" team has won the Championship of Russia 19 times. Since early 2008, he has been taking an active part in the creation of city soccer club "Nizhny Novgorod /NN/", later he was appointed president of this club. Under his leadership, FC "NN" finished in 3rd place in the Russian second division championship which allowed it to perform in 2009 in the Russian first division. In 2009 he accepted the offer to head FC "Volga" and in 2010 led the team into the Russian Premier League.

In 2006 he defended his doctoral thesis and received the title of "Doctor of Economics and Management", "International Academy of Management."

In 2012, he headed the Board of Directors of "ST Nizhegorodets", the largest Russian enterprise for the manufacture and sales of passenger minibuses and special motor vehicles based on FordTransit, IVECO Daily, FIAT Ducato and Peugeot Boxer.

Under the direction of Goikhman A. L. the companies ST Nizhegorodets and VERTEX began to work on the joint production of lift trucks and manipulating cranes. There is no doubt that the result of this collaboration will allow to compete with the enterprises already working in this market.
