JLG 660 SJ for "NOVOROSSIYSK SHIPREPAIR YARD" JSC

JSC «NSRY» provides a wide range of stevedoring and port services: loading of cargoes onto vessels and lashing them on boards the vessels, unloading cargoes from vessels, arrangement of tally and marking of the goods, storage of cargoes, port operations and other auxiliary activities. NSRY Dry Cargo Handling Terminal uses berths intended for general purposes with gantry cranes. There are warehouses and open storage on the terminal, it owns cargo handling equipment and machinery, as well as skilled dockers. JSC «NSRY» offers repair, mechanical cleaning, painting of the hull of the vessels, engine repair and welding services etc. The majority of the works are executed at the height of over 20m. For these purposes VERTEX supplied the JSC «NSRY» with the telescopic boom lift JLG 660 SJ. The boom lift is equipped with elaborate control elements for smooth movements and easy operation. 4WD with the Axle Oscillation ensures excellent maneuverability. The equipment has a hydraulic cylinder and boom sections protection package for operation in hostile environment. The latter is of the utmost importance due to the fact that the lift is supposed to be used under constant water impact and high moisture level conditions.

VERTEX delivered the equipment via tender. In the end of June the results of the tender were announced and VERTEX’s offer was declared to be the winner in terms of the price and delivery time. In the beginning of July the machine was already supplied to "NOVOROSSIYSK SHIPREPAIR YARD" JSC.
