Articulated lifts from Vertex participate in the construction of the Orion bakery plant

The construction of a bakery plant of the Korean company "Orion" has started outside Tver.

Accordingly to the first stage of construction, there is a plan to launch 7-8 production lines with various types of bakers’ and sugar confections. The facility is going to start up operations in December 2022.

For the moment:

• pile jacking is completed by 100%;
• foundation works of all buildings are completed by 100%;
• started the brickwork;
• construction works on purification and treatment facilities of storm and industrial runoffs are in process;
• the process of installation of metal structures has begun, in which self-propelled lifting equipment from Vertex rental fleet is involved.

Haulotte and JLG articulated lifts with working heights from 17 to 26m are operating on the site.

The advantages of working at heights using self-propelled lifts are obvious:

• Laborers safety at height;
• Compact overall dimensions, allowing the use of equipment in narrow passages and in hard-to-reach places;
• High cross-country ability and maneuverability;
• Self-propelled lifts can transfer people and goods directly during operation, which leads to a significant working speed increase and time-saving;

After putting in operation, the enterprise will be able to supply with jobs for about 350 men.

This will be a significant contribution to the economy of the Tver region.
