From factory to VERTEX: business trip to China and the first bulk order for robots in stock

The VERTEX teamhas returned from a businesstrip to China.

Our colleagues visited the manufacturing plant that produces high‑tech robotic systems for steel surface preparation in the petrochemical and ship repair industries. The purposeofthe trip was to assess the quality of the products, test the latest models on specialised demonstration stands, andnegotiatesupplyterms.

As a result:

• The plant’s latest developments were showcased. Agile permanent‑magnet robots capable of moving on vertical surfaces and in hard‑to‑reach areas – both inside and outside tanks and vessels. Theserobotsprovidecorrosion protection faster and more safely thantraditionalmanualmethods.
• Direct negotiations were held with the plant management, and special pricing terms were agreed. Thanks to this, our customers in Russia will be able to purchase high‑tech equipment withoutexcessiveintermediarymark‑ups.
• The first batch was ordered for stock. Sothatyoudo not have to wait for months for a custom order, we have already paid for and placed the first batch of robots into production for our warehouse. They will soon beavailablein Russia.

As the equipment arrives, we will definitely announce demonstration sessions. You willbeable to come to our site, personally test the equipment in operation, and assess its efficiency foryourspecifictasks.
