Upgraded Haulotte Star 10 for the food industry

VERTEX company has been working on the market of self-propelled lifting equipment for more than 8 years, and we can always offer new customers lifts supply service packages for any industry. The main task of the service package is to show the product (service) in action, to understand what problems previous customers had when choosing equipment and which ones were resolved, what tools were used for this.

We were approached by a food processing company that needed a small self-propelled lift with horizontal outreach to service the buildings of the plant.

The project manager offered a vertical mast lift by French manufacturer - Haulotte Star 10. Having considered the previous experience of working with food industry enterprises, we immediately offered the client and subsequently equipped the lift with maintenance-free gel batteries that do not have harmful emissions and are biodegradable hydraulic oil that is safe for the environment.

Haulotte Star 10 with a lifting capacity of 200 kg and a working height of 10 m is a mast lift with an additional jib (movable articulation) which a basket with overall dimensions 0.78 x 0.98 m is attached to, with the ability to change the angle of inclination up to 130 °, which allows it to be positioned more precisely and carry out high-rise work in the most inaccessible places. The horizontal boom outreach of 3m greatly expands the working area of ​​the lift. In addition to the movable boom, the Star 10 has a tower rotation of 345 °, allowing the operator to work in multiple locations at once. At the same time, during rotation, the back part of the support platform does not extend beyond the chassis. The width of 1m allows the lift to drive through standard doorways, which is an undoubted advantage of this equipment over larger articulated lifts. The Haulotte Star 10 can move at a full height of 8m – which is a huge time saver.

In early December, the lift was delivered to a new location. The client expressed its gratitude for the cooperation, and VERTEX received another invaluable experience.
