News from the construction of the Amur GPP: TO for JLG 800 AJ

About the need for timely maintenance of lifts, we wrote more than once. This is especially important in conditions of intensive use of machines and with a large operating hours.

The VERTEX service department carried out maintenance for JLG 800 AJ self-propelled articulated boom lifts. The machines are actively used in the construction of the Amur gas processing plant near the city of Svobodny in the Amur region. The climate in this place is sharply continental, with large annual and daily fluctuations in temperature, with cold winters and very hot summers, therefore lifting equipment works there to the maximum of its capabilities. In addition, JLG 800 AJ have already worked out 3750 hours.

During the maintenance of the JLG 800 AJ, the following work was performed:

• engine oil change;
• replacement of filters;
• diagnostics and performance check of the lift.

By the way, a self-diagnostic unit is built into all lifts of the JLG brand, which registers the codes of deviations in the lift operation and displays them on the display. And it greatly simplifies the diagnosis and repair of lifts of this brand. That is, service engineers, reading the codes of the diagnostic device, can quickly and, most importantly, accurately determine the fault and eliminate it.
