VERTEX lifts are involved in the large-scale construction

The active construction work is underway on the territory of the Center for the construction of the large-capacity offshore structures in Murmansk region. The area of the construction site is more than 250 hectares, about 20 of which were created artificially. CCLOS is the specialized shipyard on which the gravity-type foundations (GTF) with the technological modules for the new plant for the liquefaction of the natural gas at Utrenniy terminal in the Ob Bay of the Kara Sea. (Project Arctic LNG-2) will be manufactured.

The plant will include three technological lines with the total capacity of 19,8 million tons of LNG per year.

The production part of CCLOS is divided into three main sites - the workshops for the production of the reinforced concrete foundations in the dry docks, the full-cycle workshops for the manufacturing of the topside modules (the natural gas liquefaction lines), the workshops for the manufacturing of the pipeline sections.

More than 50 units of the self-propelled lifting equipment from VERTEX are working on the construction site at the moment. These are the articulated boom lifts with the working heights from 26 to 41 m, telescopic diesel lifts with the increased cross-country ability with the height of up to 43 m. With the help of the lifting equipment, the metal structures of the workshop buildings are being assembled, the facade works on the installation of the sandwich panels are being carried out, the works on the installation of the engineering networks, such as ventilation systems, fire extinguishing and lighting systems, are effected.

CCLOS is the large-scale, high-tech and strategically important project not for the North-West region only but for the whole of Russia!
