Lift work platform complete repair as an alternative to buying new equipment

The need for a complete repair of special equipment depends on the conditions of its operation, the quality of maintenance, the amount of operating hours and many other factors.

VERTEX service department received a self-propelled lift work platform of 2006 build date in a fully disassembled condition.

Every single assembly of the machine required repair. The documents for the lift were lost.

VERTEX service engineers carried out a complex of works to complete repair of the equipment:

• Repair jobs with wiring (making jumpers and replacement of end caps of all wires);
• Replacement of all hydraulic components;
• Replacement of the Upper and Lower control unit cable;
• Making high-pressure hoses;
• Reassembling of stub axle;
• Replacement of electronic control units and their configuration;
• Calibration of the lift work platform;
• Restoration of paint coating, painting and straightening of metal structures of the lift;
• Maintenance operation #3;

The package of documents for the machine has been restored.

Also the following jobs were carried out: a complete technical inspection and examination of the industrial safety of lifting equipment.

The entire complex of works has taken 6 weeks. The availability of all spare parts at VERTEX warehouse has helped to reduce the time for complete repair.

At the moment Haulotte Compact 12 Lift work platform is fully operational and ready for registration at any authorities.
