Working visit of VERTEX management to China

The management of VERTEX made a large-scale working visit to China. The primary goals of the trip were to strengthen strategic partnerships with the leading global manufacturers of construction and special equipment, inspect production facilities and sign supply contracts for equipment to be delivered to Russia.

During an intensive programme, VERTEX’s top management held important negotiations with the leadership of the TZCO and ZOOMLION plants.

Industrial Giant TZCO: from space technologies to adaptation for the Russian market

One of the key stops on the visit was the production site of the Chinese heavy machinery giant - TZCO (Taiyuan Heavy Machinery Group).

Founded back in 1950, the enterprise was the first major heavy engineering plant designed and built in the People’s Republic of China. Today, TZCO is an industrial powerhouse with a rich history, renowned for its advanced intelligent developments. The brand’s product line includes powerful lifting equipment, excavators, wind turbines, and even equipment for China’s aerospace industry (including launch systems for spaceports).

TZCO boasts a strong R&D base and its own patented technologies. What is especially important for VERTEX clients is that the plant is ready to flexibly refine the range of self-propelled lifts. Based on engineering notes and feedback from VERTEX’s service team, TZCO engineers will introduce design modifications to fully adapt the lifts to the harsh operating conditions in Russia.

The result of this visit was a signed direct contract for the purchase of a large batch of TZCO self-propelled lifts, which will expand VERTEX’s own rental fleet and become available to our clients.

The VERTEX management also held a personal meeting with the CEO of the ZOOMLION plant. The company has undergone important personnel changes: a new top manager has taken over as Head of International Sales, responsible for the brand’s global markets.

During the talks, key agreements were reached to continue and expand active cooperation: VERTEX continues to sell new ZOOMLION equipment in Russia, and will also add more ZOOMLION machines to its own rental fleet.
