Repair after a low quality service

With the onset of warmth and the next construction season, self-propelled lifts need mandatory maintenance and preparation for intensive operation within the warm season.

Vertex service department is working as usual and is ready to repair equipment with a variety of malfunctions including the most complex ones.

Недавно специалисты сервисной службы «Быстро & Качественно» проводили комплекс мероприятий по ремонту и обслуживанию самоходного коленчатого подъёмника Haulotte HA 18 PX. К моменту поступления в сервис, машина активно использовалась на заводе немецкого автомобильного концерна и наработала 3626 моточасов.

Recently, the specialists of the Quick& Qualified service department carried out a set of measures for the repair and maintenance of a self-propelled articulated boom lift Haulotte HA 18 PX. By the time it entered the service, the lift was actively used at the plant of the German company and the working hours amounted to 3626 hours.

Initial equipment diagnostics identified a hydraulic oil leak.

It turned out that the malfunction occurred due to several reasons:

• poor quality repairs by the previous contractor;
• temporary wear and tear;
• due to the human factor;

To eliminate the problems on Haulotte HA 18 PX, a number of works were carried out:

• removal of the internal combustion engine (ICE) to replace the platform gasket;
• ICE installation;
• replacement of the alternator belt;
• technical maintenance.

In addition to the above mentioned services, Vertex mechanics carried out the following works:

• high pressure hoses (HPH) were removed and replaced with new boom HPH and stroke HPH;
• replaced the hydraulic oil;
• installed corrugation on power cables;
• fixed the battery in its proper place;
• replaced the o-ring of the reducer.

At the final stage of service, the complete functioning of the equipment was checked. The Haulotte HA 18 PX is now ready for a new stage of operation.

We would like to note that thanks to our own warehouse of spare parts Vertex and the high-quality repair work carried out by the service department, the lift was transferred to the owner in due time, in a fully functional condition.
