Self-propelled Snorkel lift for "Bol'shoy Theatre"

The year 2012 was truly successful for the VERTEX company. Having started its activities in the past year, the company developed rapidly and steadily becoming the leader in the lifting equipment market. The last month of the year has been no exception in the history of VERTEX victories.

In December, VERTEX won the tender organized by the state-financed culture institution "State Academic Bolshoy Theatre" for delivery of a self-propelled crank boom Snorkel A38E lift with a working height of 13.5 meters and a load capacity of 215 kg. Two companies participated in the competition, but VERTEX again, having offered the best terms, became the first.

The Bol'shoy Theatre is one of the largest in Russia and one of the most remarkable opera and ballet theatre in the world whose history is assumed to have started in March, 1776. In the entire history of the Bolshoi Theater, its actors, artists, directors, conductors, let alone the admiration and gratitude of the public, received many times various signs of recognition on the part of the state. During its existence, over 800 works of art were staged.

The complex of theater buildings is located in the center of Moscow, the purchased equipment is to be used for maintenance of premises in the scene dock. The new dock is fully automated, it is as high as a ten-storey house and is intended for storage of 518 containers of scenery for a hundred plays.

This tender was a good conclusion of the year and a successful beginning of long-term cooperation.
