Special equipment for equipment: JLG 530LRT and JLG 860SJ will be servicing airbuses and boeings

Our customers are not only construction and manufacturing enterprises. Lifts are purchased both for own purposes and company needs of all types of sectoral focus. Events of the special equipment purchasing aimed for other equipment servicing, for example aviation, occur at times. That means that in airline companies the airplanes are serviced with the help of lifting equipment.

VERTEX has experience in supplying equipment in a special configuration for airline companies. We also know for a fact about the mandatory additional procedure of certification on the lifts in the GOST R system “Aerodrome equipment and ground support equipment for aviation technology”, therefore, the winning tender for supply of a special equipment aimed for a large Russian airline was accepted with enthusiasm. Just a bit, as this is such a responsible and difficult task, and our team loves difficulties.

A self-propelled scissor lift JLG 530LRT and a telescopic lift JLG 860SJ were chosen for the new delivery. The main features of the JLG 530LRT are: the working platform height of 18.2 m, the width of 2.31 m, and the loading capacity of 680 kg. The following parameters are relevant for the JLG 860SJ: platform height of 26.21 m, horizontal outreach of 22.86 m, and 230 kg of the platform loading capacity in unrestricted mode.

JLG 530LRT with a wide extension platform, made of more thickened steel for reliable and confident work, and productive maneuverable JLG 860 SJ in a special configuration were delivered for servicing aircrafts.

The special configuration includes the following options:

• obstacle scanning sensors and movement shutoff system
• soft handrails
• special paint
• working area lighting
• as well as other options specified by GOST R

All the equipment successfully passed certification and has a warranty of 12 months.

The delivery took place according the requirements of the regulation, where VERTEX specialists conducted a briefing on operating and technical inspection of the lifts. Despite the fact that the sky and airplanes set up a romantic mood, the state and maintenance of aircrafts must be taken seriously and with a cool head.
