Supply to Vyksa Steel Works by VERTEX: JLG 340AJ at service for the Russian metallurgy

One of the largest domestic producers of railway wheels and electric welded pipes Vyksa Steel Works (Vyksa Steel Works JSC) started cooperation with VERTEX in August 2016. Member of the largest Russian and international oil and gas projects of JSC VSW held a tender for the supply of lifting equipment on its electronic site. The plant required a special equipment for work inside and outside the factory premises in the city of Vyksa, Nizhny Novgorod region such as construction and installation works, inspection and maintenance of the plant production lines, lighting, facades, ventilation equipment, etc.

VERTEX company's specialists provided the most optimal offer for the requested equipment, and the customer signed a contract for the supply of self-propelled articulating boom lift JLG 340AJ produced by the American company JLG Industries, Inc. The delivery of the lift to the customer's warehouse in Vyksa was executed with full training on operation with this model of the lift.

Self-propelled articulating boom lift JLG 340 AJ is equipped with a motor, protected by durable steel covers and fully corresponding to the eco-standard Tier 4. In addition, the model has a very low fuel consumption, and, due to its high environmental class, it boasts of the ability to use the machine in enclosed spaces of the workshops within moderate amount of time. Modern high-tech hydraulic system causes the low probability of leakage and high efficiency of the boom lift. Relatively compact dimensions (length / width - 552 cm x193 cm) and light weight 4400 kg provide convenience when transporting the boom lift. High maneuverability of JLG 340AJ allows to perform the necessary work qualitatively and efficiently. Working height of the machine is 12.33 m, the maximum horizontal outreach is 6 m.
