The first batch of lift trucks is ready for shipment

The VERTEX company together with the "ST Nizhegorodets" factory presented their first hydraulic lift trucks at the 14th International Exhibition "STT'2013."

In 2012, after a business trip of the VERTEX managers to the Italian Oil&Steel factory for production of top structures, the talks were started on cooperation and prospects of the development of both parties.

The Oil&Steel company has been in business since 1995 developing and manufacturing high-quality platforms for works at height. Opting for Oil & Steel, as a partner, was due to the ease of use, quality and reliability of the produce which has already been recognized and in demand around the world. The company's range of products includes articulated and telescopic lifts with working heights from 11 to 27.8 m

In June 2012, an Oil&Steel delegation came on a return visit to Nizhny Novgorod to assess the capacity of the "ST Nizhegorodets" plant.

"ST Nizhegorodets" plant is a manufacturing enterprise specializing in the production of passenger minibuses as well as of commercial and special vehicles for different purposes on the basis of foreign and domestic brands. The company is certified to the international quality standard ISO 9001-2001. The produce of "ST Nizhegorodets" has OTTS (vehicle type approval) and a certificate of NP "Institute Certification of Motor Vehicles."

The enterprise, outfitted with the latest equipment and having spacious and light industrial areas, did not leave the Oil&Steel factory representatives unresponsive.

The large potential of the plant was appreciated on its merit and after that it was publicly announced about signing an exclusive cooperation agreement. Under the contract, the companies are starting to work together on the production and sales of hydraulic lift trucks.

Before the start of work on installation of top structures the representatives of "ST Nizhegorodets" plant were sent to the province of Modena (Italy) for secondment.

The next step was the production of the first two hydraulic lift trucks: with articulated boom Snake 189 Smart installed on the IVECO 50C15 chassis and telescopic boom Scorpion 1812 Smart on the GAZ 3309 chassis. Installation of top structures on automobile chassis took place with the participation of the Oil&Steel plant representative.

Both hydraulic lift trucks were presented at the stand of VERTEX and ST Nizhegorodets at the exhibition "Construction Equipment and Technologies 2013" and sold immediately thereafter.

Both parties are confident that the high-quality and competitive products brought on to the Russian market will be quickly appreciated on their merits.
