VERTEX equipment on the construction site of the «Otkritie Arena» stadium

Coming soon the opening of a new, ultramodern, meeting all the safety requirements «Otkritie Arena» stadium. The stadium will become the home arena for the FC Spartak Moscow matches as well as it will be hosting the World cup football matches in 2018. The stadium can seat 42 000 fans at a time.

There are a number of facilities for different sport and cultural purposes:

• Multifunctional arena seating 12 000 people;
• Football Training base: 6-8 football grounds with natural grass and artificial surface. All with artificial lightning;
• Water sports center;
• Tennis center, indoor and outdoor courts included;
• Two multifunctional training camps for various sport training- basketball, volleyball, handball, weight lifting gym, single combat gym, swimming pool, gym;
• Sports medical center;
• Park with running track, bike path, ski and roller skating run, outdoor playgrounds with artificial lightning;

The specific feature of the stadium – tribunes located as close to the football pitch as possible, allowing to see all the crucial moments of the game in details. The tribunes are named after the legendary FC Spartak football players. By the North tribune you can find the statue of the Starostin brothers –the founders of the football club. At the entrance to the stadium the fans are greeted by the symbol of the football club – Gladiator. The facade of the stadium is decorated with glass miniblocks supplemented with lightning system displaying different images. The telescopic boom lift Genie S™-3200 is used for mounting the glass miniblocks on the facade. Because of its robust framework and additional protection features the telescopic boom lift Genie S™-3200 is designed to work in rough conditions. The equipment of 32.48 m working height is perfect for construction and mounting works which require a large-scale working height.
