VERTEX participation in the organization of the 3rd Winter Military World Games

A lot of important sporting events held in Russia in winter, including Winter Military World Games, organized by the FAA RF Ministry of Defense CSKA – the Central Sport Club of the Army. In behalf of this event for military athletes, that takes place once in four years (a year before the Winter Olympic Games), a global organizational activity has been conducted, involving various amount of equipment, including lifting equipment. In order to install the climbing wall and other sport facilities for the 3rd Winter Military World Games, which in 2017 has been conducted from 22nd till 28th of February, VERTEX has delivered a self-propelled articulated lift - JLG X23J. To deliver the equipment in a very short period due to the approaching date of opening of the sports event - was the main task of our company. VERTEX experts, as usual, worked quickly, and already on the 20th of February 2017 the lift has been handed over to the Customer - the FAA RF Ministry of Defense CSKA in Sochi city, the place of location of the 3rd Winter Military World Games 2017.

This model of the lift is equipped with a hybrid power supply system, has a low weight of 3100 kg, and the narrow chassis with rubber tracks. All these features provide flexibility and passing ability of the lift, as well as ease of transportation. JLG X23J equipped with outriggers for maximum stability to work on torn surfaces. The working height of JLG X23J is 23,10 m and the load capacity amounts to 200 kg.
