A testament to artistry: Mural honoring Vladimir Shukhov graces Nizhny Novgorod, brought to life with VERTEX support

A new large-scale art object dedicated to the outstanding engineer, architect, and inventor Vladimir Grigorievich Shukhov has appeared in Nizhny Novgorod. This unique mural, now decorating a wall of a residential building, was created with the direct involvement of VERTEX, which provided an aerial work platform for working at height.

To realize such an ambitious and detailed project, the artist needed not only courage and talent but also impeccably reliable equipment. Specifically for this purpose, the HAULOTTE HA32RTJ PRO articulated boom lift was promptly delivered from the company’s rental fleet to the site.

It was this powerful, reliable, and time-tested machine, featuring an impressive working height of 31.8 meters and a significant horizontal outreach of 21.6 meters, that provided the artist with safe and stable access to the work surface, allowing full focus on the creative process and image detailing. The precise positioning capability of the HAULOTTE HA32RTJ PRO proved indispensable in creating such a complex and large-scale piece of art.

"We are proud to have contributed to the creation of this significant cultural object," comments Kirill Safronov (Deputy Head of VERTEX Rental Department). The legacy of Vladimir Shukhov is inextricably linked with engineering and a drive for innovation, which aligns closely with our company’s spirit. Providing our lift for this project is not merely equipment rental, it is support for art and preservation of our history’s great figures."

The new mural will be a vibrant addition to the urban environment of Nizhny Novgorod, reminding residents and visitors alike of Shukhov's genius and his contribution to global engineering. This project is a clear demonstration of how modern technology and specialized lifting equipment can serve not only industrial tasks but also the higher aims of art and culture.
